By using calmjoints.org (the “Site”) or booking a visit through it, you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the Site.

Who we are

Calm Joints is a trade name of Clairvoyant Holdings Inc. (“Calm Joints”, “we”), an Ontario company. We run a digital physiotherapy clinic: video visits first, with in-home and on-site visits where available.

Who provides your care

Care is provided by registered physiotherapists. Each physiotherapist is responsible for their own clinical assessment, treatment decisions and records, under the rules of their provincial regulatory college.

Articles, blog posts, product mentions, partner pages, QR destinations and automated messages on this Site are general information. They are not a diagnosis, a treatment plan or advice for your situation. Only your physiotherapist can give you clinical advice, and only after assessing you.

We do not promise any particular outcome from care.

If you have an emergency, call 911 or your local emergency number. Calm Joints is not an emergency service.

Booking and payment

Booking requests on this Site are requests until confirmed. Visit fees, cancellation rules and insurance receipts are shown when you book or by your clinic before your visit. Some bookings are completed through our booking partner’s system, and their terms also apply to that step.

Calm Joints does not offer government-funded physiotherapy (for example OHIP-funded, WSIB or other public-payor programs) through this Site unless it is expressly stated for a specific service.

Partners and products

Calm Joints works with brand and location partners. Partners may display a Calm Joints QR code or hub. Partnerships are governed by the partnership fine print shown at signup, not by these Terms. No partner pays to have a patient referred, and no partnership changes how a physiotherapist assesses or treats you.

Products mentioned on the Site may be sold by Calm Joints, a partner or a third-party merchant. A product mention is not a clinical recommendation. Follow the product label and ask your physiotherapist before using a product as part of your care.

Forms and applications

Submitting a form (a booking request, careers application or partnership request) does not create an appointment, job offer or partnership until we confirm it. We may accept, decline or pause any request.

Acceptable use

You will not misuse or scrape the Site, impersonate anyone, post unlawful or misleading health claims, try to access another person’s information, or interfere with the Site’s security.

Intellectual property

Calm Joints and its licensors own the Site, the Calm Joints name and marks, and original content. Partner names and marks belong to those partners.

Disclaimers

The Site is provided “as is.” We do not promise uninterrupted access or that every listing, article or partner offer is complete or current. To the extent law allows, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the extent law allows, Calm Joints is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill arising from use of the Site. Our total liability for a claim about the Site is limited to the greater of CAD $100 and the amount you paid us for the specific Site transaction behind the claim in the prior three months. This does not affect rights that cannot be waived under consumer or health law, and it does not limit a physiotherapist’s professional responsibility to their patient.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Courts in Toronto, Ontario have exclusive jurisdiction, except for mandatory consumer or professional-regulatory forums.

Changes

We may update these Terms by posting a new version on this page. Continued use after an update means you accept it.
